Can a prank take a life? You won't believe it. By Daizha Lankford
December 17th, 2012 an article was posted about the sad and tragic death of a young nurse named Jacintha Saldanha. The article was posted early this morning containing the specific reason for the taking of her own life. After getting the honor of treating Catharine, the Dutchess of Cambridge at the hospital. Being the attentive nurse she was, a phone call that seemed urgent came to to Dutchess and Prince. After figuring out it was a prank call she hung up, and a few hours later she was found dead. This article shows, how messing with other people's lives may seem funny, but really it is not. If a prank call can take someones life than it is a serious matter all schools need to discuss. Being teenagers and kids we play pranks and joke around a lot, but it is worth a persons life. Everyone should read this and think very carefully about all of the pranks we pull. What is funny to you, could be deadly to someone else.

Hopefully people will learn from this tragic incident.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely unnerving. I can't believe that a prank call of all things, would cause someone to take their own life. That poor nurse didn't deserve to die. I hope she rests in peace.
