Tornado in Italy: Amanda Kipp
Today a massive tornada struck southeastern Italy in the city of Taranto. It came through the industrial part of the city, blowing up transformers and picking up significant amounts of debris. Reporters are not sure how strong the winds were but a this storm has already caused a large amount of damage to the industrial area. As of right now only one person is missing and investigators have started searches. Hopefully the tornado will die down soon and not cause any further destructuion. This story just shows how severe weather harms everybody around the globe. http://www.cnn.com/video/?hpt=wo_mid#/video/bestoftv/2012/11/28/italy-tornado.cnn

how sad!
ReplyDeleteThat is just horrible. Every time I go on this blog, I read more and more posts about hurricanes, tornadoes, and awful storms. I hope the U.S. does something to help the places in Italy that have been destroyed, and I hope this person is found.
ReplyDeleteI hope the tornado goes away soon since it has already caused so much destruction!

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of tornadoes in Italy. I'm gessing they aren't very common which is why thisone was reported.
