South Korean returns home by: Shadden Hashem

A South Korean fisherman, Chun Wook-pyo, was taken to North Korea among 25 other South Koreans in December 1972, after their two fishing boats were captured in the Yellow Sea. Chun has made it home safely this past week after over 40 years of being in captivity. Thousands of fishermen are said to have been captured by North Koreans over the years. Most of them have returned, but more than 450 haven't. North Korea has denied holding the fishermen against their will, but some fisherman who previously made it back to the South since 2000 have said that they were forced to stay in North Korea, where they lived under constant surveillance.
Wow! It's incredible that Chun made it home after 40 years of captivity. It's interesting to me that North Korea would do such a thing but deny the fact, even when there's proof. This needs to be put to an end.
