Scary Seattle Storm by Zoey Crummey

A tornado hit Seattle hard today, damaging several factories in the process. Fortunately there were no injuries, but this is a very rare occurrence. Washington normally only gets one or two tornadoes a year, and they are very small. This year it has been very rainy, some of the Northwest has received more rain over the weekend than usual over a month. There are have also been major power outages, with over 100,000 people out of service due to the storm.

I think this is really scary, the weather there is completely abnormal and not to mention dangerous! This shows how real global climate change is, and that our world really needs to make more of an effort to help our environment. When will people realize that we are going to destroy our earth? I'm glad that there were no injuries, but this shows everyone how badly we need to change.
