Transforming Piloted Planes in to Drones Andrew Tunell

On September 25 the first unmanned  Boeing F-16,  had its first test flight. Before now the F-16 has been a manned aircraft used for battle. This retired plane of 15 years was transformed into the first unmanned plane of its kind, and many other like it have been made by Boeing out of retired planes to be used as practice targets for pilots flying manned planes. This plane that flew for the first time in 15 years flew from a base in Florida to The Gulf of Mexico unmanned and managed to do several arial maneuvers on its way.

I think that although this is a good way to have practice adversaries for the pilots I think they could use this technology wise by fighting real battles with the unmanned planes to avoid any death. Also I think it is a waste of resources to use a flight worthy plane worth millions of dollars as target practice. I think they should use those planes in combat so we don't have to spend billions of dollars no new planes.
