Girl in New Jersey goes missing after posting on twitter

A photo of Kara Alongi from her Twitter feed.Yesterday at 6:20 PM a girl in New Jersey named Kara Alongi posted on twitter "there is someone in my hour ecall 911." Police searched her house and did find her to be missing. This created a huge uproar all over twitter and social media sites. People everywhere were posting using the hashtag #helpfindkara. Her twitter reached almost 100,000 followers by this morning. Police officers who searched her house said that there were no indicators of anyone breaking into the house and nothing was stolen from the house. Therefore there were no signs of this girl being kidnapped. In addition, authorites reported that somebody called a taxi to come to the Alongi house. The taxi driver regocnized Kara as the girl he picked up and took to Rahway Train Station. This has led me and many others to believe Kara ran away from her home to escape her life. If she was really in danger she should've called the police herself instead of tweeting about it!! If she did run away I think it was absolutely ridiculous to pretend she was being kidnapped and send the whole social media network into a worried craze. She worried thousands of people including her family and close friends. Hopefully she was not kidnapped and she will return to her home soon but as for right now all anyone can talk about on twitter is #helpfindkara! I say #ridiculous. http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/01/us/new-jersey-missing-girl/index.html?hpt=us_c2

  4. Honestly I think that people should look at the clues. Personally I think she has problems at home or maybe at school that we don't know about. I think that she ran away and wanted to attention because she doesn't feel like she has any. Well she got what she wanted, she got attention and a lot of it. But if she wasn't doing it for attention, she did a good job of throwing people off her trail.
