Hugo Chaves has been reelected in Venezuela for a fourth term as president. But this term is definitely not coming without challenges. The Venezuelan government has a growing debt that isn’t being helped by the weakening of their currency. There are a lot of people that think Chavez will have to devalue the currency halfway by early next year which will lead to even more economic problems, especially for the people who can't afford to buy imported services. Also, due to poor investments the oil industry, which is a major factor in Venezuela’s infrastructure, is decreasing because of lack of management and problems within the companies. Venezuela has many challenges to overcome economically, but is them keeping the same president going to help or hurt them in the long run?
