In America a protest is supposed to be peaceful yet awakening and, instead of peaceful Guatemala got a huge wakeup call. On October 8th An article was posted about a protest that ended up with 7 people dead. The CNN wired staff told about the protest blocking a hospital and a highway that ended in security taking matters into there own hands and injuring more than 30 people and killing 7. The main idea is that a protest that was not causing harm to anyone else should have not ended in tragedy. Obviously this was written for everyone to see and know that violence can ruin families and the way people see security. I send my condolences for the families and injured ones and I hope they get better.

I agree with walker, People need to be treated with respect.
ReplyDeleteThis is horrible. I hope that the families heal from this incident.
ReplyDeleteI can not believe that the security handled this situation the way that they did. Protests are just supposed to let people know your side and opinion on a situation, not to get injured by people that are supposed to protect you. I hope these injured people heal soon.
