Man planning to bomb 48 churches in Oklahoma

A 23 year old man named Gregory Arthur Weiler II was arrested in Miami, Oklahoma because he planned to blow up 48 churches. He was arrested in a motel after a room service employee reported to have seen suspicious things in his room. After police searched the room, they found many documents outlining his plan. These documents included a list of churches, a hand-drawn map with the churches grouped and circled, a handwritten journal, and instructions for making Molotov cocktails. They also found 50 brown glass bottles with cloth wicks attached by duct tape, a funnel and a 5-gallon gasoline can. He was charge with threatening to use an explosive or incendiary device and for violating the Oklahoma Anti- Terrorism Act. This suspect, from Illinois, is expected to appear in court on October 22.
