A Woman three month pregnant was stoned to death by her own family in Pakistan. It happened because the woman married a man "against the families wishes." The husband of the woman said that as she was being stoned, the police just watched. Marrying someone who your family does not approve of is often seen as unacceptable there. Even though people were yelling for help, the police did not intervene.
Story's like this not only make me sad, but angry as well. I wish the police there had the decency to stop murder happening right in front of them, even if the woman did something they think is terrible.
