Farmer finds What under old plaster? Alyssa Hamilton

In Chajul, Guatemala a farmer/odd jobs man decided to re-do his bathroom...... While he was stripping the walls of their old plaster " he discovered 300-year-old murals, a priceless piece of Guatemalan history." 

 
Scenes of men beating on drums and playing flutes now overlook him and his family while they eat and sleep. He is working on trying to keep the murals as safe as possible while experts are trying to figure out ways to save the murals. Because of the humidity the colors have been fading and they're afraid that they might someday just disappear......
Hopefully they are able to restore and preserve this valuable piece of art.
