After having her pictures taken for riding on a manatee and endangered species, in Florida Park, Ana Guiterrez turned herself in to the police. :I Since the manatee is in danger for extinction, bothering them, or going over to them is illegal. Police found out about this incident after several reports where given about sightings of a woman riding on a manatee. The woman states that she didn't know that touching manatees was illegal, the state attorney's office will determine if she will face charges.
Morals of the story:
-Do your homework; study on state laws before you go there
- Don't ride on manatees
