Oh The Skulls! By Zaria Chambers

In Mexico City, Mexican archaeologists found the largest number of skulls ever found in the scared temple of the Aztec Empire. The stones were found at one sacrificial stone. Archaeologist stumbled upon these stones as they were renovating a section of the Templo Mayor in the hear of Mexico.  The skulls were cracked on both sides leaving archaeologists to believe these cracks came from the wooden stake that ran through them so they could be placed on the skull rack.

This article was written by Alexandre Meneghini to inform us of the new findings in Mexico City. I think this article has a positive influence on readers because it is very informative.

  2. I think that this is very interesting because the finding of these skulls could lead us to learn more about the Aztec Empire. I have never been to Mexico, so I think that it would be a really cool thing to learn about more of the history of Mexico. I wonder what these skulls could mean, and I wonder why they were hanging on a rack. Maybe if I ever visit Mexico, I will find out.
