Texas Mother Admits to Gluing Her Child to a Wall and Beating Her by Graysha Assoun

A Texas mother of five is expected to be sentenced because she admitted to gluing her 2-year-old to a wall and beating her over potty training. Elizabeth Escalona, 23 is expected to go to court Monday. Her pediatrician, Dr. Amy Barton, claims that from the pictures the child was badly beaten with bruises all over her body. Jocelyn Cedillo was nearly three when her mother used strong adhesive to glue her hands to the wall. Her other three children witnessed her mother beating her because she urinated on herself which cause her mother to kick her in the groin among other forms of abuse. The doctors saw that the head trauma caused brain damage and Jocelyn being put in a coma. Escalona pleaded guilty to first degree injury to a child. The officials are asking Escalona to go to jail for 45 years so she won't cause more harm. All of the children are now in the custody of their grandmother, Oefelia Escalona.

  3. This is so terrible! Over potty training?? She doesn't deserve to be a mother to those children if she teaches them how to do things by abusing them.
