Kenya holds 1st presidential debate

Presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta arrives to take part in a televised debate between presidential contenders, in Nairobi, Kenya Monday, Feb. 11, 2013. Kenya's foreign affairs minister on Monday criticized European Union ambassadors in person for what he called an orchestrated attempt to favor a presidential candidate in Kenya's upcoming elections due to take place on March 4, in which one of the top contenders is Uhuru Kenyatta who faces charges before the International Criminal Court related to the postelection violence that killed more than 1,000 people after Kenya's last presidential election in 2007.  Kenya's government has been slowly improving in many ways and now Kenya holds their first presidential debate. During this debate shocking news was released that one of the candidates, Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, has been charged with crimes against humanity however this will not eliminate him from running the country. Kenyatta is charged with crimes relating to violence involving in the death of over 1,000 people. While being interviewed live on air TV he stated that he was elected president then he would be able to wipe these bad deeds from his name. Should he be allowed to hold Kenya's citizens' freedom when he committed a mass murder? I wonder very much whether he will be elected by the people or not. If he is Kenya's next president then that shows allot about the citizens.
