     Two days ago, a baby girl was found by a dog. This newborn was discovered in Texas in a plastic bag. She was immediately taken into custody by the police and taken to a children's hospital where she is being cared for. According to the article, she is in great conditions now, but if not for those dogs, she could have stayed outside all night and could have easily died. The baby was found by a fence at about 7 pm on Tuesday, February 19. About three inches of her embillical chord was still there, unclipped where it has been cut. This, of course, made her situation much more perilous. This article was written by M. Alex Johnson from the NBC News staff. I found it to be frightening yet informative. It is crazy that stuff like this happens in our own state! I did not sense any bias in this article. I think this was written for people living in Texas so we could be aware of something happening close to us.
