If you were to go back a few years in the past and travel to India, you would be very surprised to see that no one ever shows signs of affection, especially in public. Because of their arranged marriage system, no couple ever TRULY loves each other.
According to a scientific survey, only 24 percent of the testers said that they kiss passionately during the day, and 41 percent say they rarely show any signs of affection in public. But recently, the percentages have been slowly increasing. Families are being more flexible with the spouses they choose for their children, although the parents do have the right to reject anyone or anything they suggest.
More and more young lovers are popping up, even if in secret, and they will eventually try to sway their parent’s decision on their potential spouse. I believe that in the near future, people in India will be able to date and marry whomever they choose.
Wow. That's kinda weird. They should let people show their affections.

ReplyDeleteThat is terrible to have arranged marriages. You will never know how much the couple actually loves each other. People need to be able to pick their partner because that is who they will spending the rest of their lives with. It would be awful for someone to have to be with someone that they didn't truly love because then that person won't even have a chance of finding the perfect someone. I hope that the arranged marriages start to end.
