A car bomb exploded in the city of Kidal killing seven people. It is suspected that the attack was targeted towards a checkpoint manned by people who support the French' s military intervention. Mali has been an unstable country since the militant takeover. Much unrest and violence makes the citizens of Mali fearful. The French, who once controlled Mali, intervened last month when militants were threatening southern Mali. I hope that all the political problems in Mali can be solved. While it may difficult, creating resolutions is necessary in order to have peace in the country.
