Voting Age is 16 in Argentina by Jessica Stegall

On wednesday, Argentian lawmakers changed the voting age from 18-years-old to 16-years-old. This law was changed about a year before the next election. Some people in Argentina think that this is President Cristina Fernendezes' way of making sure she gets enough votes. Others think it will be good oppertunities for the young people to get involved and have their voices be heard. With the new rule, about 1.5 people in Argentina will be added to the voting rolls. How exciting! Its nice to know that the young people are finally beingm able to be heard!
