Football Season starts in Egypt ! With no fans in the stands.
Egypt's 'football' (soccer) season started this Saturday but there weren't many fans in the stadium. Instead there was a riot ! Port Said-based Al-Masry defeated Cairo's Al-Ahly, 3-1. Then fans starts beating each other with chairs and more. Last week, a judge issued death sentences for 21 Port Said residents for their roles in the riot. It is known that both of these cities have rivalries for years.

Death sentences? That sounds kind of harsh... someone must have been injured in the riot. This is why I don't like sports... they're too violent.
ReplyDeleteThe sport isn't violent. The fans are...as in fanatics.
