Amanda Kipp: Hundreds of Pounds of Cocaine Seized in Peru

Police in Peru mdae a huge drug bust earlier today, one of the biggest confiscations of they year. Almost 2,200 pounds of cocaine was seized by Peruvain policemen. The drugs were supposedly going to Holland. Authoriteis of eru said that this is a huge set back for drug dealers/trafficers in South and Central America. Peru manufactures the most cocaine in the world aside from Bolivia and Columbia so this was a very important catch by the police. In addition to the drugs, police took several thousand dollars of money, some weapons, and even counterfit passports. I am very glad that police made this drug seizure and it is good to know that actions are being taken to reduce the drug warfare in Latin America. This is a step forward for efforts to slow these terrible drug wars that are terrorizing our southern neighbors. http://video.msnbc.msn.com/nbcnews.com/49699102/?__utma=238145375.71743706.1347324240.1351564087.1352158499.7&__utmb=238145375.4.9.1352159254065&__utmc=238145375&__utmx=-&__utmz=238145375.1352158499.7.7.utmcsr=nbcnews.com|utmccn=(referral)|utmcmd=referral|utmcct=/&__utmv=238145375.|8=Earned%20By=msnbc%7Cworld%20news=1^12=Landing%20Content=Mixed=1^13=Landing%20Hostname=www.msnbc.msn.com=1^30=Visit%20Type%20to%20Content=Internal%20to%20Mixed=1&__utmk=59526510#49699102
