On Wednesday, in the Pacific Coast of Guatemala there was a powerful eathquake sending debris flying everywhere. This earthquake killed at least 48 innocent people and people say 150 people were injured in hospitals. Experts say that it had a 7.4 magnitude that everyone could feel. They even said they could feel it in CentralAmerica as well as Mexico City. This earthquake was the hardest one to hot since 1976. The president says that he is thankful it wasn't as bad as the previous ones and the damage they have was not at the same level as the ones before. There were even reports of schools and homes being destroyed because of the earthquake, but luckily school was coming to an end do no students were in the buildings. The government has taken precautions and has issued a red alert throughout the pacific coast.
