Current Event due Monday- September 2, 2013. "President Obama: 'I Have Not Made a Decision' on Syria"

CURRENT EVENT: due Monday- September 2, 2013.
"President Obama: 'I Have Not Made a Decision' on Syria"

Summary:

The leader of Syria is killing thousands of people in his own country with chemical weapons/W.M.D. President Obama is deciding whether America should "punish" Syria for all of the massive human destruction their leader is enforcing. Right at this very moment the U.S. army has four fully equipped air craft carriers ready to attack Syria. The President is unsure whether or not to attack Syria a little, a lot, or not at all. Although, how can one country bomb or attack another "a little" and still not start a war?

Analyses:

I think that it is very thoughtful (if thoughtful is the correct word) of our President to try to protect a country in need. However, it has nothing to do with America; of course, there is the chance if we don't destroy them now, they could come attack America. Also, it shows the world "American Pride" and how much we try to protect our fellow countries. I believe that America should not be involved with a war that (at the moment) has nothing to do with them. Even if the president decides to enforce a mild attack, it could start a very unnecessary war.
