Surveys conclude that thousands of people died from guns every year, whether its accidental or intentional. Guns aren't toys. They are tools. Guns are the worst possible thing a kid could be playing with. Kids could actually kill themselves if they don't know how to handle a gun. Another major issue is young adults in high school who get angry and decide they want to shoot up the school. Guns should only given to people with a clean, and sane backround.
Guns are way too easy to get in America. almost any one can get them. We need to not ban guns, but put more control on them. People, dangerous people are getting weapons and putting other peoples lives in danger, this has to be stopped!

I agree that they should be more controlled, but guns don't kill people, people kill people. Even if a person has a clean background, they could radically change or go crazy, and do dangerous things. It is not the guns fault, it is that persons. Also, guns are not the only weapon. A knife can do almost just as much as a gun, but they are not banned anywhere because they serve as other purposes. That being said, guns are a great source of protection. If the gun is the issue, then the same thing should be true for every other weapon.
