Tourist killed by whale
Adrianna Martinez

Off the coast of Cabos San Lucas Mexico, a Canadian tourist was killed while on a small inflatable boat that collided with a whale. The victim was Jennifer Karren, a 35 year old woman, and two other passengers were injured. Jennifer Karren  fell in the water and the tour guide and a passenger jumped into the water to get her. She was brought onto the boat and they performed  CPR. The vessel captain called naval rescue officials and she was rushed to the hospital and shortly pronounced dead.

I feel sorry for the woman that died she was just looking forward to a good time but sadly was killed. I also feel sorry for her family and friends. This incident is very frightening, and might have been prevented if the captain was more careful and tried to steer the boat away in time. Also  they need to have a bigger boat instead of a small inflatable boat to prevent incidents like this from occurring again.

  1. I agree with you, this could easily have been avoided if the captain had been more careful and the boat was more durable. It's sad that it did happen and I hope her family is handling the news okay.
