Russian Cat 'Saves' Baby Abandoned in Entrance-Way by Savannah Boyack

A Russian homeless cat, who lived in a hallway in a cardboard box, named Masha found and took care of a baby that was abandoned in an entrance-way in the town of Obninsk in the Kaluga region. Masha "warmed the baby for several hours with her body" until Nadezhda Makhovikova, who lived in a flat on that hallway, went out after hearing the babies cries. An ambulance arrived and announced that the baby was perfectly healthy.

It's nice to some heartwarming stories like this when their are so many horrible things happening in the 'world' section of google news. Even though the fact that a baby was abandoned isn't really that great either, at least this story had a happy ending for everybody. This is the reason why I love animals!!

  2. This is so nice! The fact that the cat waited with the baby for several hours is also amazing. It's nice to think that animals feel compassion for other species, it's like that one show....
