In this religious ceremony, the people of the religion go to fetch crosses from a lake but, soon during this ceremony it was banned for women from taking part in this swimming event and speaking only men should be doing this. This can coincide with many events in history, World and U.S. Events, and more current events like this one.

  1. I can see it through their perspective because they believe it goes against the ways of their religion. However, it's still sexist and it's time that women in these areas of the world become equivalent to men. It's a right that they should have.

  2. i agree with bella about the whole maybe it would be against their beliefs and their religion but at the same time i dont think the women should have been banned because women can do just about anything men can do if not better so why not give women the rights and credit that they deserve?
