After the Cold War a law in Washington was passed that any sort of immediate evacuation planning for a nuclear attack is not allowed. What's worse is that it is one of the 5 states that is supposed to be hit by North Korea. Because the state isn't having officials prepare for an immediate and possible attack, they're screwed.
That sucks that they have a law that is restricting them from creating a weapon that could potentially protect people. Hopefully Washington isn't a state they are actually choosing to be attacked.
