Google is introducing new features and gadgets for the google app, the Android, and others platforms. These features are mainly centered around artificial intelligence. The Google Lens, which can analyze exactly what you are pointing your camera at, is one of the technologies they've released lately. Google does have competition in Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft, and Pinterest already has a feature with which one can point their camera at an item and Pinterest will find where to buy said item, and find similar items.
This a really a really cool new technology. It's crazy how technology has evolved in the past 16 years that I've been alive. It's a little scary too though.

It's amazing how far we have come from doing everything by hand to getting industrialized in many new technologies. I think these advancements in technology will allow people to do less work in some industries, but I also want to know what consequences there will be. There is always a consequence for our actions and i want to know if this will somehow impact our environment in a negative way. Plus, yeah it's great we have so much money to push boundaries of tech, but we could also be using that money to help people who are in need and less fortunate. I think we should use the countries money first to help impact people and the world worldwide, then start advancing in our own country
ReplyDeleteIt is crazy how much Google has expanded over the past few years. Technology has become very evident in today's society in positive and negative ways. I'm interested to see where technology goes in the future.
