On Saturday, an Aeromexico flight hit a truck on its landing injuring 8 people. The utility truck flipped and injured 2 majorly, but the other six suffered from minor damage. The 146 passengers and crew on the flight from Mexico City were perfectly fine, but a wing on the airplane was damaged.
I don't understand why that truck was so close, but I really hope those people get better, and the wing gets fixed. There needs to be a better landing system, there was no reason for the close proximity of the truck. Airplanes are way bigger than humans, and no person should've been that close.

It's really odd that the plane was so close to the truck. Maybe the problem had to do with the pilot?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how something like this happened, isn't the runway supposed to be clear before a landing? I agree that there needs to be a better landing system in order to avoid things like this.
ReplyDeleteThey probably need to use better safety precautions. This was probably a freak accident but it's crazy how these accidents can happen.
ReplyDeleteI pray for the 8 people that got injured and hope they push through it. to be more safe and accidents happen.
