Artist Paints Towns - Mila Fisher

Guido van Helten is an extremely talented artist who makes his mark in small towns by painting huge murals on buildings and structures. His pieces mainly attract the the interest of small towns, as he depicts the members in his huge paintings. The Brisbane based artist says that his work is focused on places and spaces, and when he goes to a town he integrates himself into the culture and works from there in his art.
This is a beautiful display of community and art combined, and it really brings attention to the small towns and their people as not just a place, but a whole family of families, weaved together in a way city people can't understand.

  1. This is so amazing! I have never heard of an artist doing this. He is bringing beauty to small towns using their own culture...that's so touching and beautiful.
