Federal courts across the country are granting requests for temporarily halting foreign travel into the US. People noticed that over the last few months, there was no thought put into this travel ban, so chaos arose and everything was so hectic. About 7 muslim countries are banned either for a short period of time, or indefinitely, and those countries never showed any signs of terrorist attacks or desire to do so.
Basically Trump is trying to do all theses things with travel ban that don't necessarily make sense, and aren't even legal. The United States has such a diverse population, and many people earned their way to live here by becoming a citizen. Families got split apart because as a member of the family tried to come back, they couldn't because they were delayed and eventually cancelled from their flight.

Very true, there was lots of confusion. Hopefully, in time, they will work out all the kinks so the country can be safer while protecting innocent people.
