Arson destroys Black History Museum in Grant County
The story was written by Anthony Mirones and I think he's not very professional because he didn't include a lot of information in the article such as the date it happened, were, or whether they found who caused it or not. Also the story wasn't very well put together.
On a Sunday The Black History Museum only 50 feat from a school burnt to ruins after the sighting of an arson. The fire department from Williams town showed at the scene of the crime. It was Known as a sad day for people who cares about preserving history. The museum in the 1950's once was the Dry Ridge Consolidated Colored School until it was closed in 1958 when whites and colored started schooling together. On June, 2011 it was reopened as a museum. I think this is horrible because its history and you can't restore it! I hope the person who did it gets what they deserve.
