Child Dies from E. Coli at the Fair by Graysha Assoun

A child was at the fair in North Carolina with more 65,000 people. Two year old Gage Lafever had E. Coli infections along with 8 other people. Unfortunately, Gage died. Certain cases of E. Coli an cause nauseau, diarrhea, dehydration, and sometimes death. Yet other cases can be less severe. Authorities have yet to discover what caused the pandemic of E. Coli infections. Health officials say that 22 people infected were children. Last year they had the same problem, their conjecture was that it was because they housed the animals.
This is prevalent because we all need to be more concerned in what we do, what we touch, and what we eat. E. Coli, according to the article, is a very big issue in the North Carolina fair. We should all be more conscious.
