Ebola Survivors in Africa by William Perry Esping II

As you all know Ebola, along with AIDS, is the biggest disease in Africa today. In African society you might as well die from the disease. Survivors can't find work and I read 1 case where this one woman wasn't allowed to draw water from the community well because they didn't want to risk her infecting the town. Along with not finding work many survivors lost all their families to the disease. So they probably feel guilty that they survived when their loved ones died.  It's easier to fit back into society their then it is over there. If you survive ebola in Africa more than likely your family didn't and they were the only people who would love you whether you had the disease or not. Now in America very few people have the disease so its more likely you still have some family and people who care about you if you survive.

  1. I think it's amazing that people are overcoming ebola and are able to live and say they beat it but it saddens me of how deadly how big of a problem it is
