A major Typhoon strikes Tokyo, Japan. There were a lot of injuries and destruction. They have ordered over 100,000 people to evacuate the area because the storm is so bad. It is still occurring. This article has a brief video about storms and their characteristics.
I am sending out my thoughts and prayers to the people that have lost a family member in this horrific natural disaster. It is crazy to think that something, like a storm, can cause so much destruction. I am hoping to find out more information about this.
This is really awful, especially since no one can really do anything against a major natural disaster like this but watch and wait for it to end. Hopefully no one is trapped in the storm, and the damage lets up as it passes, so that people living there still have homes to go back to.
