Deadly boat crash in Hong Kong

At around 8:20 pm off the coast of Hong Kong's Lamma Island, a deadly boat crash killed 36 people and threw more than 100 people into the water. Chris Head, a school teacher who was on the passenger ferry that crashed into the Hong Kong Electric vessel said he could see the other boat had started to sink into the water vertically, like the Titanic. The boat sank quickly had tons of obstacles and low visibility making it hard for the rescuers.

  1. It is very distressing to hear this. It's no Titanic, but 36 is a lot of people in today's day and age. I like to be in touch with what is going on in the world, great article. Next time the date would help!
