Flooding in Mozambique Post by: Addison Norman

Flooding in Mozambique
Post by Addison Norman

The past few days Mozambique has received large amounts of rain. The rain has cause many rivers to flood throughout the country. Gaza province was a hard hit area, and the rain has affected thousands of people. The flooding so far has killed about 36 people, and there is about $15 million in damages so far. Many people are with out food and water.
This is really awful! I hope they are able to get food and water soon and most importantly are safe. It is important to be aware of are surrounding. If people near the rivers knew heave rains were coming they could have time to evacuate or prepare.
