Foul Language in Russia by Anna Pickett

Putin just agreed to a law that bans foul language. This means films, music, and other arts are not allowed to include swear words. Books and movies that already contain swear words will have to come in a package that states that it "contains obscene language." People and businesses will be fined if they are caught using foul language.
This seems like are hard and oppressive task. Russia's government is becoming more and more harsh. I think guidelines and restrictions in Russia are going a little too far.

  1. I agree with you. I think Russia's government needs to lighten up a bit or they will get into big trouble soon.

  2. I don't promote cursing, really, but these words have their place, and Russia is crossing a violating creative and social boundary that's not their place to cross.
