South Sudan Oil Wars - Nash Farmer.

South Sudan is currently in an oil war with rebels who have taken a few cities and are trying to retrieve the oil. However while the government is trying to gain back the territory the citizens are trying to get out of the war zones. The people are seeking refuge and political asylum in U.N. bases that have been sent to help deal with the situation. It is unfortunate to see these people have to lose their homes. Negotiations are on the table but no resolution is in site.

  1. It seems like there might be a better way to get oil than to just take a city and get the oil. Obviously the government wouldn't be okay with that. You would think that people would think things through more often.
