To Seek An Asylum - Max Gaddis

Africans seeking political asylum in Israel from genocide and political unrest in Sudan, Eritrea and Central African Republic are being disappointed and sent back into the midst of the very situation they are trying to escape. Israel is only seeing them as migrant workers who are calling on asylum just so they won't be turned down. They blame migrants for crimes committed and claim that they are a threat to national security. They are bribing the migrants to go back home for around $3,500 or else they will be deported. They think it to be necessary just so they can "maintain the Jewish ways" and "uphold the law". Most immigrants don't even want to be in Israel, but it the only choice for them at this moment. All they want is for their life to be peaceful. Most are planning on returning home after the threat is gone. Israel only has to give them asylum until that day, whenever that may be.

I think Israel should just give them asylum because they aren't going to stay there very long. Israel should also want to be apart of the solution so they can get the "migrants and criminals" out of their country sooner, and just because it's what neighbors should do for each other.
