6.8 earthquake hits off coast of Japan

A powerful 6.8 earthquake hit off the coast of Japan, the U.S. geological Survey stated on Monday. The earthquake's epicenter was 48 miles east-northeast of Miyako. It was also 6.2 miles or 10 kilometers deep.The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has stated there is no tsunami threat from the earthquake.
Fortunately this earthquake did not cause any damage or was a threat to the people. Also it's good there is a Tsunami warning center to help protect the people and save lives.
