'Death' of Iran's Dead Sea by Jesse Dale

http://www.cnn.com/2015/02/10/world/cnnphotos-iran-lake-urmia/index.html

There once used to be a Lake Urmia in northern Iran which was exactly like the Dead Sea. but it has dried up and no one can swim there anymore. the Dead Sea is quickly following suit and people are trying to stop it. They say it is because of Iran's water crisis, and the president is pledging $5 billion to try to solve the problem

Although the war in the Middle East is technically over, this is what we should have been worrying about as well as, if not more, than the threat of terrorists. While people have to wait around for terrorists to do something, the water shortages are happening around the clock and we need to help fix it. A lot of us are over there anyway, so it shouldn't be that big of a problem to try to come up with solutions for them.

  1. I agree that the Dead Sea should be restored. Unfortunately, it takes a large cost.
