The US paid 87m pesos to the Philippines for damaging their coral reefs in January 2013.The Philippine foreign industry will all the money that was compensated to protect and restore the reef. The ship that caused all the damage was the USS Guardian due to poor planning. The US apologized and removed four commanding officers for not doing what they were supposed to be doing.
The damage is done but at least the US did pay their dues to prevent wars from starting or enemies because when something pops up and the US is in big trouble, the Philippines wiil turn their backs on them and say " Nope. You didn't help me for s***!"
