Warhol Portraits Exibited by the Queen by Kira Bell

One icon portrayed another in the portraits of the queen by Andy Warhol. They were presented along with more formal portraits, all of the queen of course, in the Windsor  Castle. Andy used his classic style of working with negatives and adding bright contrasing colors. The pieces were done in 1985.
It is refreshing to see the royal family appreciates fine art. I enjoy the charming narcisism  of having an entire exibit of portraits in your home of yourself, though i suppose that only goes along with being the queen of england.
