In Benghazi, Libya this past Saturday, gunmen opened fire on the Italian consul general as he was leaving the consulate. The diplomat was in an armored car coming out of the garage when the gunmen began to shoot, and thankfully no one was injured. However the attack is also seen as related to another attack on September 11 that resulted in the death of four Americans which I pro-Qaeda group was responsible for as well as several other attacks.
