Fatal skydiving by Becca Hodge

This morning Diana Paris, 46 of Berlin, germany, died while taking part in a world record skydiving jump. Her main parachute malfunctioned and caused her to crash. Her crash was not due to the amount of people in the air or any other skydiver.

My heart goes out to her family. I hope they are all doing okay.

  1. I question how safe this jump was, but since it seems to have a cause purely related to chance, I guess you just have to say that anyone can skydive at their own risk. Still, this is really sad and sudden, so I hope in the future parachutes can be improved so less accidents happen.

  2. I agree with Frances, maybe if proper safety precautions had been taken this wouldn't have happened. I hope her family and friends are coping well with the loss.

  3. I never think skydiving is a good decision, so many things could go wrong.
