South Korean Prime minister resigns- Andrew Tunell

Chung Hong-won resigned early this morning after much criticism over the governments response to a ferry's disastrous crash. Hong-won took responsibility for the crash and decided to resign because of it, he said "During the search process, the government took inadequate measures and disappointed the public". This is still a very shocking decision.

This seems really strange to me, what if people in our government resigned after every mistake, usually we must force bad officials out. I do think it was a very honorable thing to do, but I don't think it was that much of the Prime Minister's fault, and I don't think it was a good reason to resign.
