According to the Turkish government, every man must go through military service. The only way not to is to be ill, disabled or homosexual. To prove that you are indeed homosexual, you must prove it. They ask you to show up in women's clothing or to show photos of you in women's clothing. Many men have showed pictures of them having sex with another man or kissing another man, just to get out of military service.

This is just appalling!!! Firstly that gays are either not worthy or dangerous, but also that you must have women's clothing is ridiculous and must be really offensive. This law should be changed as soon as possible, even though it somehow strangely can get people out of mandatory service!
