Many People Die on South Korean Ferry- Andrew Tunell

Fifty-nine people have been found dead and two hundred forty-three are still missing after a South Korean Ferry rolled/sank. The captain was not present in the steering room during the accident and pre-planed the course, but the third mate executed a turn too sharp when steering. A reason there were so many fatalities is because the evacuation to the life boats was delayed until the boat was leaning too far for the passengers to move to the life boats.

This accident could have been stop and prevented several times if it wasn't for the carelessness of the crew.  Its really sad that if the third mate steered better, and the captain called for a evacuation all these people wouldn't have died.
